Wylie N. Briggs

Wylie N. Briggs passed away on Wednesday, July 24 in Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Wylie Noel Briggs was born August 21, 1935 to Ward and Hazel Briggs in Fargo ND. He graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1953. He then went on to graduate from NDSU in 1960. While attending NDSU, he was a member of the golf team and everyone who knew him would know that golf was a lifelong passion for him. In the interim, he proudly served in the US Navy for 2 years.

Wylie was united in marriage to Lois Williams in 1960.

Wylie worked for Crane Johnson Lumber for his entire life, still serving as Chairman of the Board upon his death.

Wylie is survived by the love of his life, Lois, and their 3 children: Wayne (Kris), Fargo, ND, Glen (Lee), South Burlington, VT, Ann (Brad) Kaufman, Loveland, CO, as well as six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Wylie is also survived by his twin sister Barbara Michelsen, Oceanside, CA, and sister-in-law, Lois Briggs (Mrs. Lee) of Sun City West, AZ.
