William Henry Pharis III, 68, passed into his heavenly home on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Hank was born on April 10, 1953, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a graduate of Haltom High School and Texas Christian University. He received his Masters in Church History and his Doctorate of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. Hank served as a pastor for 40 years.
After serving in the ministry, he became a professor at Colorado Christian University and also worked for the United States Postal Service.
Hank deeply loved his wife of 46 years, Sherry, and his sons William and Jonathan. He also loved his pets, his media and his extensive library. He was a lover of adventure and travel; Hank was passionate about books, movies, and music of all sorts.
Hank may have moved "up north" but he never lost his Texas accent or his love for the Dallas Cowboys. During his last days Hank was able to share his most significant life events in a book entitled "Failing for God?".
Hank would want everyone to know that he is in heaven today, healthy and free. He would want you to know that God is always good and always faithful. His greatest desire is that you would trust Christ as your Lord and savior and you would join him in Heaven someday.
