Bill Carnahan, 71, of West Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2015 in his home.
William George Carnahan was born May 29, 1944 in Baltimore, MD. He was raised by his parents, George and Ann (Wiles) Carnahan in Maryland. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1962. After his service, he lived in the Chicago area for many years where he worked as a sheet metal model maker before moving to Fargo in 1979.
Bill was employed as an equipment operator for the City of Fargo Street Department, where he worked for twenty years. He then lived in several places before returning and making his home in West Fargo. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family and his dog, Buddy.
Bill is survived by his three children, Michelle (David) Bragg, Athens, AL; Dennis (Rick Teliga, Jr.) Carnahan, St. Petersburg, FL; Lisa (Michael Nord) Carnahan, Fargo, ND; and grandchildren, Justin Shariat, Boston, MA; Aaron (Sabrina) Brolsma, Fort Lewis, WA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Michael and Joe.
