Wilhelm “Bill” Heller, 96, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo, ND. Wilhelm Arthur Heller was born April 21, 1913, in Addison, North Dakota, son of Christian and Frieda (Gustavas) Heller). He attended school at Woods, North Dakota. Bill married Maryalice Curfman, December 30, 1943, at Grace Lutheran Church in Fargo. She passed away October 4, 1992. Bill farmed at Woods, Leonard and Sheldon and in 1947, moved to Fargo and farmed. He farmed for 64 years. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church since 1947. Bill is survived by his two daughters, Beverly Jensen, Casper, WY; and Glenda (David) Heck, Fargo, ND; two grandchildren, Julie (Jesse) Rorvik, Casper, WY; Jon Purdy, Rock Springs, WY; one great-grandson, Jon Matthew Purdy; and a great-great granddaughter, Brooklynn Purdy, both of Salt Lake City, UT; sisters, Adelia Stensgard, Moorhead, MN; Selma (Fred) Curtis, North Kansas City, MO; Olga Priewe, Fargo, ND; Cora Hennings, Fargo, ND; Nora Dauner, Hawley, MN; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maryalice; two brothers, Albert (Abbie) and August; sister, Frieda Knapp; and other brothers and sisters. Thank you staff on second and third floor at Rosewood on Broadway for the good care you have given Dad and also to Hospice of the Red River Valley. Funeral Service: Monday, December 7, 2009, at 1:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Sunday, December 6, 2009, from 2-4 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold and one hour prior to the service at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Davenport German Cemetery, Davenport, ND.
