Wayne A. Lilleberg, 64, Fargo, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 from complications of frontotemporal dementia.
Wayne was born August 25, 1952, in Fargo, ND to Amos and Agnes Lilleberg. He graduated from Fargo North High School and obtained a Bachelors degree in Music from Moorhead State University. It was in a music class where he met his future wife, Nancy. They were married in 1975 and were blessed with two children, Travis and Stephanie. .
Wayne worked as a Guitar Specialist for Marguerite’s Music from 1975 to 2000, and was well-known for his expertise and attention to detail. He also worked from 2000-2012 as a Geographer, building online maps at NavTeq/Nokia. Wayne enjoyed camping, reading, playing guitar, singing and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nancy K. Lilleberg, Fargo; son, Travis Lilleberg, Boston; daughter, Stephanie Lilleberg, Jamestown, ND; and sister, Nancy A. Lilleberg, Peoria, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Agnes Lilleberg.
