Wallace Redmann, 80, Fargo, ND, died Monday, January 22, 2007, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo. Wallace Rodney Redmann was born to William A. and Ruth (Grefsrud) Redmann in Rothsay, Minnesota, on September 9, 1926. In November 1932, Ruth passed. Wallace and his sister, DeLaine, were raised by their father and then by Othelia Brandhagen, beginning in 1934. William and Othelia married in February 1951. Wally graduated from Moorhead High School in 1944. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1944, and was honorably discharged in 1955. During this time, Wally graduated from Concordia with a B.A. Degree in History and Economics and a Minor in Education. Wallace worked as an insurance adjustor with Insurance Co. of North America from 1957 – 2003. Wallace married Louise Marie Nicklason on August 13, 1960, in Remer, Minnesota. Wally and Louise lived in Minnesota, Kansas and New Jersey, before settling in Fargo, ND, in 1982. Wallace lost his lovely wife, Louise, on October 26, 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise; and brother-in-law, Merle. He is survived by his children, Wayne Redmann, Fargo, ND; Erick (Penny) Redmann, Fargo, ND; grandson, Bryce Keller, Fargo, ND; and sister, DeLaine Meyer, St. Paul, MN. Memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rosewood on Broadway or Hospice of the Red River Valley. Memorial Service: Friday, January 26, 2007, at 11:00 AM, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Burial: Hamar Cemetery, Rothsay, Minnesota.
