Violet Schuler was born May 6, 1926 to David and Margaret Berreth in Highmore, SD.
She married Reuben Schuler March 7, 1952.
She was a homemaker who loved to garden, raise all kinds of flowers, and plants. She was a great baker who made all kinds of breads for her family. She held numerous jobs throughout her lifetime. She was the first female to join the union in the lumber industry in Montana.
She moved to Fargo in 1994. She went into Luther Memorial, Mayville in 2012, where she received loving care until November 10, 2017, when she passed into God’s loving hands.
She is survived by her son, Dan (Virginia) Schuler, Missoula, MT; daughters, Linda Mees, Fargo, ND, and Bonnie Bell, Fargo, ND; son-in-law, David Haney, Fargo, ND; daughter-in-law, Judy Schuler, IL; and eleven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben; sons, John and Jim Schuler; daughter, Gay K. Haney; her sister, brothers, and parents.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
