Violet “Vi” Mulske, 78, of Fargo, ND, was called to her eternal resting place on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Violet Faye Schaffer entered this world on October 6, 1941 in Linton, ND, born to Arnold and Evelyn (Borr) Schaffer. She attended school and grew up in Linton.
Vi owned and operated her own daycare at her home in Fargo for most of her adult life. Throughout the many years of caring for children she made a great impact on the lives of so many families in the area. Vi also enjoyed gardening and loved flowers.
Vi and the love of her life, Frank Higgins, enjoyed traveling together, mostly in North Dakota and Minnesota, and would often seek adventures like chasing storms.
Vi is survived by her sons, Dwight (Holly) Mulske, Baldwin, ND; Grant (Jen) Mulske, West Fargo, ND; sister, Marcella (Melvin) VanBeek, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Shelby, Cody, Nathan, and Josh; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her partner, Frank; and her parents.
