Verona Farol

Verona A. Farol, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 3, 2011. Verona was born April 28, 1918 to Otto and Augusta Timian in Dresden, ND. She grew up on the family farm near Crystal, ND. In 1939, she married Martin Farol and moved to Grand Forks, ND to live and raise their family. They moved to Fargo, ND in 1955.Verona moved to Minneapolis in 2004, to be near her daughter. Verona was a homemaker and also worked in the housekeeping department at St. Luke's Hospital until retiring. She was active in her church circle and enjoyed doing crafts, sewing and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; son, Arnold; sisters, Agnes, Laura, Evelyn and brother, Richard. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Gerald (Patricia) Farol, Robert (Judy) Farol, Ronald (Rita) Farol, Linda (Dean) Krause; daughter-in-law, Carol Timian; sister, Margaret Augustin; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. William Stuart of Park Nicollet Clinic, Davita Dialysis, and all the Doctors and staff at North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis for their kind and loving treatment of our Mother. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, State Services for the Blind, or the American Cancer Society. Funeral: Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at 1:00 PM, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 613 South 16th Street, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour before the church service. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
