Timothy S. Johnson was born in Fargo, ND, on April 14, 1960, to Robert and Vernice Johnson and returned peacefully to our Lord on November 9, 2009, with the love and support of his family. He attended elementary and high schools, graduating from Fargo North in 1978. He married Patty Corrigan on June 6, 1981. Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree, in Animal Science from North Dakota State University in 1984. Tim joined the staff at NDSU upon graduation. He received his 25-year recognition in 2009. He served on several building committees for the college of Agriculture and was a past board member of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). Tim loved working with the staff and students and treasured the many friendships he was blessed to have. Tim was very proud of his children, supporting and coaching them while they participated in the many sporting and musical events. He was a long time member of Hope Lutheran Church where he was active, having taught many years of Faith Steps and Wings. He was a board member of the “Men In Boats” group and was known as the “bait man”. Tim loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the Sandhills Archery Club where he served on the board. He also enjoyed the hobbies of woodworking and metal. He was often referred to as “Tool Time” Tim. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Vernice Johnson; wife, Patty; daughter, Megan (Lee Grossman); daughter, Alaina (Tyler Spiekermeier); son, Dustin; and his newest pride and joy grandson, Coregan Scott, all of Fargo, ND; and his sister, Lori Johnson of Redding, CA He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharla Rae; grandparents, George and Helen Hughes and Frank and Golda Johnson. Funeral Service: Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at Hope Lutheran Church ~ North Campus, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Friday, November 13, 2009, from 5-6 PM, at Hope Lutheran ~ North. Prayer Service: Friday, November 13, 2009, at 6 PM, at the church.
