Tara Kellar

Tara L. Kellar, 32 of Fargo, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Sanford Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Tara was born January 30, 1979 to Roger and Cathy (Dockter) Holland in New Rockford, ND. She grew up and graduated from Fargo North in 1997. She attended Minnesota Sate in Moorhead, MN. She worked at the Fargo Country Club for 10 years. She married Josh Kellar on September 16, 2000 in Fargo, ND. They raised their children in Fargo. Tara loved her children and siblings, music and her Fargo Country Club family. She was always there for her girls, camping at the lake, attending the girl’s activities, dance, soccer, orchestra and band concerts. She spent years trying to meet Brett Michaels from the band Poison. She is survived by her husband, Josh and their three children, Angel, Kaia and Jalan; parents, Cathy (Greg) Gronland and Roger (Layne Vollmer) Holland, Moorhead, MN; siblings, Tyler, Kelsey and Ashley, Fargo, ND; grandparent, Janice Dockter, New Rockford, ND; best friend, Janice Martin and step-brother, Tim Vollmer. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon Dockter, Vernon Holland, Idella Holland and Gordon and Evelyn Gronland and two cousins, Alisha Sattler and Daria Cihak. Memorials preferred to Tara Kellar Benefit Fund at Gate City Bank. Funeral: Wednesday, December 28, 2011, 2:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church – South Campus, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Hope Lutheran Church, followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery – North, Fargo, ND.
