Tammy Lynette Charbonneau

Tammy Charbonneau, 62, Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2022. Tammy Lynnette Charbonneau was born December 14, 1959, to Ole and Cleo Kjonaas in Moorhead, MN.
Tammy made her life in Moorhead with various friends, particularly from the Fargo Social Club. She loved to make people laugh and would giggle right along with everyone with her very distinct laughter. Tammy enjoyed spending time with her cats, photography, thrifting, and singing her favorite songs at karaoke with her brother Rich. Her favorite was Strawberry Wine, but she was also known for silly and uplifting song choices.
She occasionally traveled to New Orleans to spend time with her pride and joy, her son Michael and his wife, Dawn. Tammy was so proud of the man and father that Michael is: in his taking great care of a large blended family and lots of cousins. Michael’s children and grandchildren were the apples of Tammy’s eye, and they brought her great happiness.
Tammy is survived by her brother Richard (Melody) Kjonaas of Casselton, ND; her son Michael (Dawn) Charbonneau of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren Shaniah Twohearts, Michael Charbonneau Jr., Torion Grisham, of New Orleans, LA; Monique Charbonneau, of San Antonio, TX; great-grandchildren Kailani and Kaiden Twohearts of New Orleans, LA; nephew Jason James of CO; nieces Heather Tommasini of Atlanta, GA & Jen Finch of Fargo, ND; great-nephews Hendley and Wyatt Tommasini of Atlanta, GA; and special friend Jon Cote.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ole Kjonaas, mother Cleo Kjonaas, and sisters, Nancy Kjonaas & Patty James.
Tammy will be laid to rest alongside her parents and sister, Nancy, in Georgetown, MN.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
