Sylvia Pritchett

Sylvia (Sis) Pritchett left this world on October 24, 2008 at the age of 69 to join in heaven her husband, her two sons, her grandson and her parents. Sylvia Ann Sartwell was born May 19th, 1939 in Burlington, ND, a blessing to her parents Sena and George. In 1957, she married the love of her life, Raymond Wesley Pritchett. They lived in Minot, ND, until 1970, before making their home in Fargo, ND. Together they raised four sons and one daughter. Sis had a great outlook on life and was the most caring and loving person one was lucky enough to meet. She loved playing bingo, cards, cooking and reminiscing about the old times. She especially loved spending time with her family. Her biggest joy was being Grandma to her seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. She loved spoiling them every chance she got and loved the slumber parties they would have. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sena Sartwell, her husband, Raymond Sr., her two sons, Steven and James and her grandson, Troy. She is survived by her three children, Raymond Jr., Fargo, Jeff (Jodi) Moorhead, Lonna (Brent) Stoner, Horace; seven grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers. Her family and friends will miss her dearly and will look forward to being with her again someday. Funeral: Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church – South Campus, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, North Dakota.
