Sunny Jones Crahan passed away on March 21, 2021 at Touchmark at Harwood Groves at the age of 99. She was a vibrant woman who lived up to her name.
Sunny was born Mavis Elaine Rayce Purdy on December 6, 1921, at St. Joseph's in Minot, North Dakota, daughter to the late Floyd and Maya Purdy. Mom to Peggy Jones Danielson, Kathy Jones Meyers, and Debra Jones Bounds, and Mimi to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, beloved friend and confidant to all who met her-including the staff at Touchmark and Red River Valley Hospice-Sunny will always be remembered for her warmth, her poise, and her smile.

As Sunny said, "My life has been an exploration of joy and sadness, ups and downs, but has brought me much love."
The sun has gone out, but her golden life shines on in our hearts.
