Steven Lloyd Madaus, 63, of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully January 19, 2014 after a strong 18 year battle with Parkinson Disease, surrounded by his family.
Steven was born in Rice Lake, WI July 9, 1950 to Lloyd and Florence Madaus. Steven graduated from Rice Lake, Wisconsin and received his diploma. Steven was happily married to Lynn Madaus and they recently celebrated their 40th Anniversary.
Steven retired from Brock White as the Geosynthetics sales manager, where he spent most of his career. Steven excelled in his career because of his stellar work ethic, loyalty, and trusting personality. He was very successful at balancing work and family. Steven strived to provide for his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Steven is survived by his wife, Lynn Madaus; children, Shannon Flammond, Angela (Josh) Young, and Stephen Madaus; grandchildren, Phoenix Flammond, Manning Laidlaw and Joey Young; siblings, Judy (Tom) Nordrum, Elaine Schlewitz, and Larry Madaus. Steven is also survived by his niece, Keri (Dave) Williams and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Forrest; and sisters, Gloria and Mary.
