Steven Jordahl

Steven T. Jordahl, 58, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at his home in Fargo. Steven Timothy Jordahl, son of Gordon and Loraine (Cline) Jordahl, was born June 11, 1953, in Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. Steven graduated from Fargo South High School in 1971. Steven served in the U.S. Army as an MP from 1973 – 1974. In 1982, he attended North Dakota State University, Fargo, where he was a DJ at the NDSU radio station. Steven married Susan Carter September 8, 1979, and to this union their daughter, Katie, was born. He worked in painting and repair. He enjoyed playing cribbage, cards and reading. Steven is survived by his mother, Loraine Jordahl; daughter, Katie (Jason) Damm; his siblings, James (Gail) Jordahl; Joseph (Coleen) Jordahl; Gary (Vikki) Jordahl; Robert (Carolyn) Jordahl; Janet (Lloyd) Anderson; Stanley (Rhonda) Jordahl; Kristine Jordahl; and two grandchildren, Caleigh Jordahl-Damm and Caden Damm. He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Jordahl; and nephew, Jory Anderson. Memorial Service: Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 6:00 P.M. at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at Hanson-Runsvold.
