Solway Losee

Solway Losee, 95, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND. Solway “Sally” Marie Oase was born December 21, 1911, in St. Paul, Minnesota, daughter of Hans and Anna (Carlson) Oase. She attended school in Rogers, North Dakota, graduating from Rogers High School. Sally married Milton Losee in Fargo, North Dakota, on August 14, 1937. Milton died July 1, 1972. She was involved with charity work at Dakota Hospital, a thrift store in Moorhead, Minnesota. Sally was also active in her church group at Hope Lutheran. Sally is survived by her children, Kurt Losee, Fargo, ND; Kenneth (Connie) Losee, Minneapolis, MN; Jackie Puckett, Los Angeles, CA; Susan Gunnare, Denver, CO; Joyce (Maurice) Rheault, Horace, ND; a sister, Florence Hafenstein, WI; and a brother, Carl Oase, CT; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milton; siblings, Hank Oase, Thelma Oase, Gunvor Mills. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethany Homes Foundation. Funeral Service: Friday, July 6, 2007, at 10 AM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
