Sierra Lynn Begg

Sierra Lynn Begg passed Saturday, October 28, 2023, in Moorhead, MN. She was pregnant with her second child, a girl she was to name Lucy Lou, who passed with her. Sierra was only 25.

Born on June 20, 1998, in Waterloo, IA, to parents Tommi Spencer and Paul "Paulie" Spencer. Her early childhood consisted of hopping between Waterloo and Fargo, ND. After she and her sisters were taken in by their grandmother, they all eventually settled in Fargo. She attended Fargo North High, where she was a part of choir and cheer. Sierra loved cheerleading and really expressed herself whenever there was a game or competition. After graduation, she moved to Moorhead, MN where she met her boyfriend, David. They started dating in 2019, and in 2020, they welcomed a beautiful baby boy named Luke. Sierra loved to help care for horses, meeting up with friends, going to concerts, and spending time with her family. She adored her nieces and nephews and took any chance she could to spend time with them.

Sierra is forever loved and missed by her son, Luke Alanis and boyfriend, David Alanis; mother, Tommi (Lawerance) Spencer and father, Paul "Paulie" Spencer; sisters, LaReina (Trenton) Begg, Carly (Dustin) Begg, and Marley Spencer; brother, Ricky Spencer; uncle, Sean Reed; aunts, Ashley Johnson, Amanda Johnson, KayLee (Dan) Gunderson, Peggy Spencer, Carolyn (Charles) Belden, and Tracy Spencer England; nieces, Malia, Alyviana, Everleigh, Gabriella, Sadye, Mya, Payton: nephews, Jason, Samuel, and Kannon.

Sierra is united in Heaven with grandparents, William and Cindy Begg; uncles, Steven Newgren and Robert O'Hara; and aunt, Donna Newgren.

A celebration of life will be held at the Mainstay Suites in Fargo, ND, from 1 pm-5 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
