Shaun Alan Duciaume was born on June 27, 1964 in Drayton, ND to Eugene and Earlise (Erickson) Duciaume. He was baptized into the Christian faith. The family moved to Fargo, ND in 1968 where Shaun attended school. Growing up Shaun was active in Boy Scouts and earned the rank of Life Scout. Shaun attended Fargo South High School where he was on the cross-country running team. He graduated in 1982. Shaun was engaged to Candi Rupprecht on December 24, 1998. They made their home in Fargo.
Shaun worked in a variety of industries before becoming self-employed where he could use his many talents and skills repairing and remodeling homes. Shaun took pride in his work which is why the quality was superior to most. Besides these talents, he had a wealth of knowledge on many different topics and the ability to explain complex processes in terms anyone could understand. Shaun enjoyed helping others, especially those less fortunate. He loved the outdoors. Shaun loved to hunt, fish, go camping, do gardening, cook and bake, and go traveling, even more when done with friends or family. Shaun had a zest for life and lived his to the fullest. He will be missed tremendously by his family and friends alike.
Shaun is survived by his fiancé, Candi, brother, Sheldon (Debbie) Duciaume, sisters –in-law Judy Jones, Joan (Larry) Doeden, Wendy (Robert) Blue, nieces Aimee Duciaume, Andrea (Cory) Cullen, Nicole (Joe) Tuinstra, Stacie Hanson, and Rachael Blue, nephews Shaun (Amy) Crowell, Tony (Karen) Gatica, David (Lori) Jones, and Casey (Jess) Jones, grand nephews and nieces Justin, Hunter, Avery, Xavier, Katya, Delany, Lindsey, James, Emily, Walter, Lewis, Gus, Hank, Waylon, Nevaeh, Quinn, and Leo, and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Earlise, mother-in-law Ida Rupprecht, many aunts and uncles, and nephew Jason Blue.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Atonement Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.
