Sharon Beverly Williams peacefully passed from this life into her heavenly home on Jan. 9, 2024.
Sharon was born to Arnold and Alvina Skarvold on Dec. 22, 1938 in Moorhead, MN. She spent her formative years in the Christine, ND area, graduating from Walcott High School. She worked as a telephone operator for a short while, and it was through this that she met her first husband, Robert Korum. They made their home in Fargo, ND. It was from their union her one and only child, Kimberly, was born on Oct. 24, 1958. She married Earl Williams on Jul. 9, 1975. She always considered him to be her better half. They were the true definition of Mr. & Mrs. Sharon worked in the Fargo office for Ford Motor Credit for 35 years before retiring. She loved her job and her coworkers. She had lifelong friendships with everyone she worked with. Sharon enjoyed traveling, watching Bison Football, and playing Bingo. She treasured long conversations with her sister Jeanette, lunch with her friends and family, as well as spending time with her grandkids and granddogs. She will be missed by the many lives that she touched.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Skarvold; her mother, Alvina (Hoel) Skarvold; her husband, Earl Williams; and her daughter, Kimberly (Korum) Colvin.
She is survived by her sister, Jeanette Needham; her son-in-law, Jerome Colvin; her granddaughter, Lynda Colvin; her grandson, Joseph (Heather) Colvin; as well as her nieces, great nieces, several cousins, aunts and uncles.
There will be a graveside remembrance of life in the spring at South Pleasant/Christine Cemetery.
