Sharon Gebert

Sharon Gebert, 65, Fargo, ND, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010, while in Palliative Care at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Sharon Lee Frank was born October 23, 1944, in Valley City, North Dakota, to Christian and Florence (Bruns) Frank. After her father’s death and her mother’s re-marriage to Earl Buck, Sharon and her older brother, Donald, were adopted by Earl. She was raised in the LaMoure, North Dakota area. After high school graduation, Sharon attended Capitol Commercial College in Bismarck, North Dakota. Upon graduation, she was employed by the Quain & Ramstad Clinic in Bismarck. In 1970, she moved to Fargo to begin what was a 30 year employment in the medical records department at St. Lukes/MeritCare Hospital. On December 16, 1989, Sharon married Chester Gebert in Moorhead, Minnesota. Sharon and Chet resided in Fargo and for the past ten years they traveled in their RV and enjoyed the southern states. They also traveled to many foreign countries. Sharon is survived by her husband, Chet; her brother, Wayne, Mitchell, SD; sister, Linda (Johnny) Mann, Texarkana, TX; sister, Carol (Terry) Staiger, Fargo, ND; and brother, Rod (Linda) Buck, Oakes, ND. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews of whom she was very proud. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian Frank, Florence and Earl Buck; and one brother, Donald Buck. Burial: Prairie View Cemetery, Wimbledon, North Dakota.
