Shane Michael Iscoll

Shane Michael Driscoll, 21, Fargo, ND, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend was called to his eternal resting place on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

Shane entered this world on May 28, 1995 in Fargo, ND, born to Shawn and Teresa (Fiechtner) Driscoll.

Shane attended Grace Lutheran School, Oak Grove Lutheran School and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. Shane also attended NDSCS in Wahpeton for one year.

As a youngster Shane enjoyed paintball and was a member of the Tech Team wrestling club. He was perhaps more persistent than truly talented in his sport, with his coach once noting that Shane ran faster if he had another kid on his back.

It was common to find Shane with his nose in a book, gaming or at a show. His interests included Military History, Computer Science and Astronomy.

Shane was a blessing to more people than he realized. He cared deeply about his friends and family, and was always willing to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. Shane was always ready to care for others, oftentimes at the expense of caring for himself. His friends and family will tell you he had a ready smile, always seeming to see humor in a situation.

Shane is survived by his parents Shawn Driscoll and Teresa (Fiechtner) Driscoll; grandparents Nyla Carson, Gerry and Joan Fiechtner; sisters Jessica (Driscoll) Grondahl, Jocelyn Driscoll, Jillian Driscoll; nephews Sterling Grondahl and Noah Grey Driscoll: and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Dennis Driscoll and Walter Carson III.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Heartview Foundation at heartview.org to assist with addiction recovery efforts.
