Seth Andrew Lund, 30, Fargo, North Dakota passed away Friday, April 14, 2017.
Seth was born November 20, 1986 in Grand Forks, ND and was raised in Fargo, ND.
Seth worked in the oil fields of North Dakota from the age of 18. He possessed an amazing understanding of his craft and quickly rose through the ranks. Always known by his co-workers as a friendly and jovial guy, he could diffuse a stressful work situation with his sense of humor and easy going attitude. On occasion Seth would be in for an earful from a supervisor and before he could get chewed out he would have the situation turned around and his boss would be laughing; they couldn’t help it, his sense of humor was just that infectious.
Seth loved music, especially live music. He spent his free time traveling with friends and family across the country to attend concerts. He particularly loved music festivals where he could camp with friends and see music by day and hang out with those he was close to at night. Seth always made sure that you were having as good of a time as he was when he was with you at a concert. If something amazing was happening on stage he would give you a quick nudge and make sure you were witnessing the artistry. As much as he loved music, he loved enjoying it even more alongside the people he loved.
Seth was amazing to everyone he knew, friend, family, even a stranger with whom he would strike up a random conversation. He made it his mission to take care of people, always offering a helping hand to someone in need. He wasn’t in it to be paid back; he just loved to help out. His love of life and eternal optimism will be his legacy, always looking for the good. He will be missed but his spirit will live on in those he blessed with his love and friendship.
Seth is survived by his mother, Linda Lund (Bruce); his brothers, Phil and Zachary Lund; his sisters, Mindy Sully (JP), Katie Bommen (Max), Emily, Olivia, and Ezl Lund; his nieces and nephew, Talulah and Otis Sully, Willow Worrior, and Hazelle Bommen; his grandmother, Mary Ann Richardson, his dear friend and uncle, Bob Richardson (Haven); his uncle, Bill Richardson, Jr. and many cousins and friends.
Seth was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Bill Richardson, Sr.
