Sandra Kay Biesiot, 72, of Mapleton, ND, died after a long struggle with illness on May 10, 2022.
Sandy Kay Freyholtz Biesiot was born on January 10, 1950 in Langdon ND to Roy A and Mary L (Reynolds) Freyholtz. Sandy attended school in Fosston, MN and Osnabrock, ND, graduating from Osnabrock High School in 1968. After graduation, she attended Aakers Business College in Grand Forks ND.
On October 2, 1971 she was united in marriage to Steven Biesiot in Fosston, MN. Together they have 2 daughters, Stephanie and Jessica. Sandy worked for Cargill Financial Service Center until her retirement in 2012.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Steven Biesiot, Mapleton; her daughters, Stephanie Donnelly of Bethlehem, PA and Jessica (Chris) Biesiot-Akers, Fargo; brother, Richard Freyholtz, Roseville MN; sisters, Jean (Delary) Laqua, Forest Lake, MN and Midge Nyblom of St. Cloud, MN; grandchildren, Kelsie, Kaytie, Tara, Avery, Bohden, Evan and Magnolia; several nieces and nephews, and 2 special great-nieces.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy A and Mary L Freyholtz and 2 sisters, Ellen Mary and Mary Lou Freyholtz.
Honorary pallbearers are Richard Freyholtz, Delary Laqua, Lew Freyholtz, Aidan Nyblom, Bohden Akers, Mark Pivitz, Chris Akers and Evan Donnelly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 14, 2022 at 10:00am at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, 215 Seventh St S., Fargo, ND. All friends and family welcome.
