Ruby Brantseg

Ruby C. Brantseg was born August 17, 1916, in Sutton, ND, to parents Alma (Peterson) and Percival James Davidson. She attended and graduated high school in Wauben, MN. Ruby married Donald “Red” Brantseg at her parents’ home on December 3rd, 1939, and they raised three children Becky, Bruce, and Jerry.

Ruby died Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at Bethany Retirement Living in Fargo.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Becky (Butch) Ingberg of Fargo; daughter-in-law, Jane Brantseg of Coon Rapids, MN; three grandchildren, Michael (Leslie) Ingberg, Julie Brantseg, and Eric Brantseg; and two great-grandchildren, Grace Ruby and Charles Jeffrey Ingberg.

She was preceded in death by her husband Red, sons Bruce and Jerry, one grandson, and four sisters.
