Ronald H. Stone

Ronald Stone, 84 of Moorhead, MN died Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead.

Ronald H. Stone was born March 2, 1929, in Meridean, Wisconsin, son of Benhart and Edna (Hanson) Stone. He attended school in rural Wisconsin.

Ronald married Irene Gertrude Biewer February 14, 1953, in Moorhead, Minnesota.

He worked at Fargo Foundry/Mid America Steel in various positions throughout his 42 year career, retiring in 1991. He was involved with the Argusville Lions and Argusville Fire Department.

Ronald loved playing horseshoes, working with the Boy Scouts, bowling, going to baseball games and spending time with his family. He enjoyed telling a good joke and lived life to the fullest.

He is survived by his son, William (Karla) Stone, Horace, ND; two daughters, Linda (Bradley) Matsui, Newcastle, CA; Lori (Donny) Walz, Ottertail, MN; four grandchildren, Allyson Stone, Horace, ND; Andy Stone, Moorhead, MN; Tera Morrison, Inver Grove Heights, MN; Ty Morrison, Moorhead, MN; his sister Kay Conway, Hinckley, MN and brother Richard Stone, Colfax, WI.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
