Ron Metcalf, 81, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Eventide Fargo, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Ronald Thomas Metcalf was born on September 5, 1935 in Pierre, SD to Roy and Irene (Bergh) Metcalf and made his home in Pukwana, SD until moving with his family to Fargo, ND in 1945. He attended school in Fargo.
Ron worked at Nystul Cleaners and the Vocational Training Center. He lived for many years at Fraser Limited Group Home until his move to the Good Samaritan Living Center in Arthur, ND. In November 2016, he moved to Eventide Fargo.
Ron is survived by four cousins, two nieces, one nephew, and six great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen Wicklund.
