Ronald Kyllo

Ronald Eugene Kyllo, 67, died Friday, September 26, 2008 at his home in Hickson, North Dakota. Ron was born November 29, 1940 in Fargo, North Dakota to Gilbert and Mable (Alfson) Kyllo. Ron grew up on a farm and attended Fargo schools where he graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1958. He married Doris (Dorrie) Saeland on September 8, 1961. Ron was employed by Branick Manufacturing until he moved to Wahpeton, North Dakota in 1969 and was employed by Wahpeton Foundry until 1973. Ron moved to Hickson, ND after opening Valley Patterns in Fargo, where he worked as a patternmaker and produced Steiger and Case-IH 1/12 scale models until his retirement in 1992. Ron was an active member in Hickson Lutheran Church and served on the South Pleasant Township Board. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Mable Kyllo of Fargo; and son in law Scott Rogers of Moorhead, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife Doris and three children; Kathi Rogers, Moorhead, MN; Wayne Kyllo, Fargo, ND; and Michael Kyllo of Granite Falls, MN; two grandchildren, Samantha and Jack Rogers; sister Joyce Brogger; and several nieces and nephews. Through his faith, Ron was able to face an eighteen year illness with courage and strength. Husband, father, and grandfather, Ron will be deeply missed.
