Ronald "Bert" Wheeler
August 29, 1922 — May 18, 2019
Bert (Ronald) Wheeler (8/29/22-5/18/19) was a life-long tax payer in Bismarck.
He served in WWII and the North Dakota House of Representatives, practiced law, and never liked golf. Monday nights were his favorite when he served spaghetti with the Forty et Eight at the American Legion Club. Bert frequently said he was pleased as punch that he never owned a horse. He had a penchant for practical jokes.
Bert is missed by a sister, a son, and nine smart, sensitive, vibrant, humble daughters, eleven extraordinary grandchildren and eleven endearing great grandchildren.
He taught us that serving others is the true path to happiness. We would like to serve you burgers and beer on behalf of Bert at the Bismarck Elks Club on Tuesday, May 28th from 5-7.
We look forward to hearing your stories about Bert.
