Bill Rogers, 85, Fargo died Friday, March 2, 2007 at Elim Home, Fargo. William was born March 18, 1921 to Otto and Milla (Fossen) Rogers in Twin Valley, MN. He attended school in the Twin Valley area and worked on the family farm. He entered the Navy in 1942. In 1946 he married Mildred Zahn. He owned a blacksmith shop in Bellingham, MN. In 1953 he married Signe Kosonen and they lived in Bloomington. He retired in 1983 after a long career with the Milwaukee Road Railroad in St. Paul, MN then moved to Mountain View, Arkansas. They moved to Fargo in August of 2006. He is survived by his wife, Signe; one daughter, Marlene (Gary) Meyer, Fargo, ND; one son, Eugene (Rita) Rogers, Jewell, KS; step-son, Everett (Cathy) Gonzalez, Prior Lake, MN; two sisters, Verla (LaVern) Schoenborn, Mahnomen, MN and Mavis Wermager, Waubun, MN; three brothers, Gilford Rogers, Waubun, MN, Earl (Loyal) Rogers, Mahnomen, MN and Phillip (Donna) Rogers, Twin Valley, MN; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Ethel Morken and Alta Winter and brother Raymond Rogers. Funeral will be 11:00 Monday, March 5, 2007 at Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo. Visitation: Sunday from 3:00 – 5:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Sunday, 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial: Wild Rice Cemetery, Twin Valley, MN.
