Roger F. Lahren

Roger Frederick, 68, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Bethesda Rehab Hospital, St. Paul, MN, surrounded by his family.

Roger was born December 4, 1943 to Lester and Lorraine (Fredrickson) Lahren in Fargo, ND. He attended area schools and began his career in managing movie theaters, including our very own Fargo Theatre for many years. He was recently employed by Professional Associates. Roger was a well-liked and respected professional businessman by all those who knew and worked with him.
He was also a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club.

Roger is survived by his sons, Scott (Renee) and Steve (Beckie) Lahren; sisters, Nancy Snyder, Diane Lahren, Joanne (Greg) Kaeding, Vicki (Terry) Kobilansky, Julie (Tom) Roush; brothers, James (Jean) and Kevin (June) Lahren; grandchildren, Chandler and Alexa Lahren, Brianna and Candace Donnan; many nieces and nephews and his long time companion, Pat Ingvalson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Judith (Bishop) Lahren and his second wife, Delores (Brock) (Heiser) Lahren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to First Free Methodist Church in Roger’s memory.

A celebration of Roger’s life will be held at First Free Methodist Church on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 11 AM. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Private family burial.
