Robin Wilson, 61, of Fargo, ND, died of natural causes on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his home in Fargo.
He entered this world on August 11, 1961 in Montgomery, AL, born to Lt. Col. (Retired) William Jr. and Mary (Helton) Wilson.
He spent the first several years of his life in Germany and Michigan before the family moved to Fargo, ND when he was 9 years old. He graduated from Fargo South High School in 1978. From there he entered the US Air Force, stationed at the Williams Air Force Base in AZ. When he got out he moved back to Fargo and attended NDSU graduating in 1998 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He worked at the Cass County Jail, retiring when he was 55. He then worked for Digi-Key until the time of his death.
Rob loved guns and enjoyed shooting for target practice. He also loved anything to do with flying, as his father was a pilot and it was a big part of their family. He enjoyed auto racing.
Robin is survived by his sister, Diane (Chuck Edwards) Wilson, Lago Vista, TX; niece, Rachel (Jerry) Markham, Austin, TX; nephew, William L. Wilson Jr., Lago Vista, TX; lifelong best friend, Jon Juven; cousins, Carol Bollen and Keith Soles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice A. Wilson; brother, William L. Wilson; and niece, Mary Amelia Wilson.
Funeral Service: 2pm, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND with a visitation one hour prior.
Burial: Floral Memory Gardens, Albany, Georgia
