Robert “Bob” Walock, 73, of Fargo, ND, died at home Tuesday, September 2, 2008, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Robert Dale Walock was born May 21, 1935, in Elliot, ND, to Bernard and Loretta (Davis) Walock. He attended school in Elliot, and later attended the Anne Carlson School in Jamestown, ND. He married Betty Ennis on October 21, 1971, in Hankinson, ND. They lived in Fargo where he worked as an accountant. He worked for Acme Welding Supply and Concrete Sectional Culvert Co. He later worked on his own, accounting and preparing tax returns. Bob was an avid fisherman and woodworker. He loved spending time at his lake home on Ottertail Lake with his family and friends. He also enjoyed following the NDSU Bison and talking politics. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Betty; four daughters, Dawn Walock, San Francisco, CA; RaeAnn (Greg) Hennrick, Fargo, ND; Deane (Dennis) Renier, Raphine, VA; and Trudy (Grant) Hest, Oshkosh, WI; one sister, Alice McDaniel, Lisbon, ND; and ten grandchildren. Funeral Service: Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Friday, September 5, 2008, from 5-7 PM, at the church. Prayer Service: Friday, September 5, 2008, at 7:00 PM, at the church. Burial: Saturday, September 6, 2008, at 2:00 PM, at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Lisbon, ND.
