Robert Schulte

Robert John Schulte Jr. passed away at his home on Pelican Lake, MN on Wednesday, December 11th, 2019, at the age of 69. He touched the lives of so many people.

Robert was born in Fargo, ND to Robert John Sr. and Birdie Schulte and raised in Moorhead, MN. He attended St. Joseph’s Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1968. He attended college at Moorhead State University and Northwestern College of Chiropractic.

He started his first chiropractic practice in Dilworth, MN. He also had practices in Moorhead, MN, Barnesville, MN and Fargo, ND. He was a team chiropractor for North Dakota State University from the late 1980s until he retired in October of 2017. The Bison were a huge part of his life.

His favorite place in the world was Pelican Lake where he was an avid walleye fisherman and enjoyed time with family and friends. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Mary’s of the Lakes Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannine (Oster), 3 daughters, Kristina (Todd) Olson, Erica (Patrick) Chaffee and Jenna Schulte, and a son, Scott Schulte; sister Roberta Schulte; 6 grandsons, Landon, Liam, Leyton, James, Hayes and Jude; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda (Halverson).

A prayer service will be held at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home on Monday, December 16th at 7:00pm with a visitation from 5:00-7:00pm. The funeral is scheduled for 10:00am on Tuesday, December 17th at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo, ND.
