Robert Lewis

Robert J. Lewis, 57, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo. Robert “Bob” Jerome Lewis was born October 4, 1953, in Fargo, North Dakota, to Rollo and Cora (Winjum) Lewis. Bob grew up in Fargo and attended Opportunity School until the age of 13, and Harbor School in Moorhead, Minnesota, for 30 years. Bob was a member of the Gold Wing Motorcycle Club of Fargo, honorary member of the FM Crusaders of Fargo, life time member of ABATE in North Dakota, and was a life long member of Elim Lutheran Church. He enjoyed riding in the motorcycle sidecar, bowling, walking and talking with people, dusting, vacuuming, babies, kids, playing Santa Claus and practical jokes. He had the distinct privilege of being a ring bearer or usher in many weddings. Bob is survived by his siblings, George (Edna Mae) Lewis, Fargo, ND; Lois (Curtis) Oberg, Georgetown, MN; Mary (Donald) Holthe, Moorhead, MN; Ronald Lewis, Fargo, ND; Donald Lewis, Fargo, ND; and Leonard (Sandra) Lewis, Fargo, ND; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Lewis; and sister, Carol Arzt. Memorial Service: Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 10:00 AM, at Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.
