Robert Edward Eik died Sunday, September 15, 2021 in his home in Fargo, ND, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.
He was born in Fargo, ND on May 31, 1928 to Olaf and Bertha (Hafeman)Eik. He grew up in Fargo and graduated from Fargo Central High School. Robert served in the US Army. After his discharge from the military he attended college before going to work as manager of Dakota Photographic. He married Leatrice Joy Engstrom on January 30, 1952 in Bismarck, ND. They were long time members of First Lutheran Church in Fargo. Leatrice died October 17, 2020.
He is survived by his daughter Sharon (Rick) Teixeira and son Randy Eik both of Fargo. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one son Steven; his wife, Leatrice and one sister, Beatrice Christensen.
