Robert B. Coste

Robert (Bob) Coste, Fargo, ND, died on Friday, August 30, 2013, at his lake home near Perham, Minnesota.

Robert Bruce Coste was born on December 6, 1936 in Moorhead, MN to Kenneth and Helen Coste. He grew up in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High in 1954.
He married the love of his life, Pamela Bohn, on September 27, 1986 in Fargo where they made their home. After many years as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Moorhead, he retired in 1993. He continued to work part-time at the YMCA in Fargo where he had been a member and fixture for over 50 years.

Bob enjoyed many hobbies including golfing, reading, watching sporting events, pontooning, spending time with family at the lake (his favorite place on Earth) and he loved “working” and socializing with his extended YMCA family. In his younger days he was an avid softball and handball player, bowler, and he was also a member of the Fargo-Moorhead and State Bowling Hall of Fame.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pamela, Fargo; children, Donna (Tony) Moorhouse, West Fargo; Tim (Jody) Coste, Moorhead; Patty (Randy) Kennedy, Fargo; David Coste, Hawley, MN; Rachel (Will) Scott, California; Angie Bohn, California; Steve Carlson, Moorhead; Mike (Penny) Carlson, Moorhead; 16 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Gloria.
