Robert “Bob” Dale Haider, 61, of Fargo, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at his home in Fargo, under the care of his family along with Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Robert was born to Eleanor and Richard Haider in Minot, ND on August 20, 1955.
He married Linda Renee Nettum on July 26, 1975.
He spent his whole life taking care of others, especially his family to whom he devoted his life. Bob was proud of every one of his children and always loved spending time with them. His grandchildren were his absolute joy! He had such a special bond with them all, including singing the “Scooby Doo” song to them all and let’s not forget the endless golf-cart rides at the lake! It was not unheard of to walk up and find him swaying from side to side holding one of the grandkids and singing to them. He was the biggest teddy bear when it came to family.
He was always big on nicknames for everyone also, but his kids had probably the most unique of them all, Tator, Kister, Na-Na and Mr. Moto.
Linda was the love of his life. They just celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary. There wasn’t anything he would not do for her. They travelled all over together, but their favorite place was always at the lake with family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Nettum) Haider; his loving children, Stacy (Eric) Boe, Casselton, ND, Kristy (Terry) Rheault, Felton, MN, Shjanna (Paul) Pischke, Glenwood, MN and Josh Haider, Maple Grove, MN; grandchildren, Julian, Kelsey, Emma, Macie, Beau, and Trevor; sisters, Connie Lindholdt, Phoenix, AZ, Carol (Dennis) Loegering, Broken Arrow, OK, Debbie (John) Payne, Grand Forks, ND, Marcia (Terry) LaBounty, Yankton, SD, Jeanne (Gene) Rebarchek, TX, Marijo (Pat) Norman, Hastings, MN, and brother, Craig (Barb) Haider, West Fargo, ND and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
