Robert Auten

Surrounded by family, Robert M. Auten, 56, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2010. Robert was born March 17, 1954, to William and Mildred Auten. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. He graduated from Moorhead High School in 1972, and attended Moorhead Area Technical Institute. He was a life long resident of his beloved city of Moorhead. He was also an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother and sisters, Bill (Lynne) Auten, Pelican Rapids, MN; Charlotte (Jim) Oraskovich, Pequot Lakes, MN; Dorothy (Bob) Yonke, Apple Valley, MN; nieces and nephew Carla Pranke, Sadie Oraskovich and Kelly Oraskovich. He is also survived by his cousins and many friends from the community. Funeral Service: Friday, May 14, 2010, at 11:00 AM, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the church. Interment: Hendrum, Minnesota at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
