Robert Anderson

Robert “Bob” V. Anderson, 86, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at Bethany Cares, Fargo, ND. Robert was born in Fargo, North Dakota, October 25, 1922, son of Alfred and Agnes (Lahlum) Anderson. He graduated from Fargo Central High School. Bob served in the US Navy during World War II as a Radioman 3c on several different ships. Bob worked as a general contractor for Anderson & Trautman Construction Co. and later his own company, R.V. Anderson Construction, until he retired. He was married to Joan (Olson) Anderson for 54 years. Bob is survived by his wife, Joan, Fargo, ND; his son, Steve Anderson, San Francisco, CA; sister, Betty Krapu, Eden Prairie, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his daughter, Rhonda J. Anderson, who died in 1981. Funeral Service: Saturday, January 24, 2009, at 3:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
