Robbyn Ellen LaBarre, 48, of Fargo, died on Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Essentia Health, surrounded by family.

Robbyn Gau LaBarre was born July 31, 1975, in Cando, ND to Rick and Barbara (Heisler) Gau. She attended Cando Public High School and graduated in 1993. She attended Lake Region College and graduated with her degree in 1996.

She married Neil LaBarre in 1998. After many moves across many states, they landed in Fargo, ND.

She was employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield and worked in the legal department. Her co-workers became her friends, and lasting friendships were formed.

Robbyn considered herself a “foodie”. She loved watching the Food Network, cooking, baking, and sharing her masterpieces with family and neighbors. She also enjoyed spending time with her family at Lake Ashtabula, making wonderful memories.

She will be greatly missed by many family and friends.

She is survived by her parents, Rick and Barbara Gau, Valley City, ND; sisters, Ranetta (Waylan) Starr, Valley City, ND, and Roxianne Gau, Fargo, ND; nieces, Stephanie (Garrett) Schilling, Bismarck, ND, Amanda (Chris Erickson) Starr, Hope, ND, and Alexa Gau of Fargo, ND; grandmother, Lucy Gau, Fargo, ND; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, one great niece and one great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry Gau, James and Alice Heisler.
