Richard Keszler died unexpectedly in his home in Phoenix, AZ on September 10, 2016.
Richard was born in 1938 in Mitchell, SD to Frederick and Hattie (Johnson) Keszler. Richard moved to Langdon, ND after his parents passed away to be raised by his brother and sister-in-law. While in Langdon, he met the love of his life who became his wife of over 57 years.
After high school he served his country in the Army and then attended NDSU. He became a Certified Public Accountant and opened up his own business in Fargo where he stayed until 1987 when he moved to Arizona with his wife and youngest son, Brian. While in Phoenix, he again opened up his own business.
Richard enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Family was everything to him and he soon moved his mother-in-law and brother-in-law to the Phoenix area. Oldest son, Scott, then moved in for a few years before deciding that Fargo was where he wanted to live. In 1993, daughter, Kris, and her son, Cody, moved to Arizona to be with family.
Richard is survived by his wife, Mary, and his children: daughter, Kris (Jack) Gilmet, (Gilbert, AZ) and son, Brian (Rachel) Keszler, (Phoenix, AZ); and 2 grandsons, Cody Martin (stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base) and Lucas Keszler, (Phoenix, AZ).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Hattie Keszler; brother, Vernon Keszler; son, Scott Keszler and daughter, LeAnn Keszler.
