Richard H. Charbonneau

Richard Charbonneau, 46, of West Fargo, ND, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Essentia St. Mary’s, Detroit Lakes, MN.

Richard Heath Charbonneau was born June 28, 1967 in Belcourt, ND. He grew up going to West Fargo schools and was an avid wrestler. He remained a strong supporter of the sport as he coached and attended matches throughout his life.

Richard enlisted in the US Army on Jan. 8, 1986, and was honorably discharged in 1993 after seven years of service. He was the “go-to” guy in most of his jobs, and he was looked up to by both his coworkers and friends.

Richard is survived by his two sons, Isaiah Charbonneau, Fargo, ND, and Anthony Charbonneau, West Fargo, ND; ex-wife, Lorella Charbonneau; mother, Dianne Willis; grandchildren, Ciera and Mariah Charbonneau; and siblings, Keith and Shannon Charbonneau and Shane and Tyson Willis.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, Walter Willis.
