Mark Abraham

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -Ephesians 2:8 Mark Walter Abraham was born on August 8, 1954 to Loren and Norma (Yess) Abraham. He was baptized on September 5, 1954. The Lord joined Mark Abraham and Wanda Linde in holy matrimony on November 11, 1978. Mark farmed in partnership with his father until the operation was sold. Mark worked as a machinist and in agri-business for several years. Mark graduated from Bethany Lutheran College in 1995, Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1999. He vicared at Grace Lutheran Church in LeMars IA. Mark was ordained at St. John Lutheran Church, Alta IA in 1999, and served there until 2007 when he accepted the call to Grace Lutheran Church in Fargo. Pastor Mark Abraham and his family give thanks to our gracious Lord who has richly blessed them throughout their lives as He nurtures and sustains them in the one true Faith. Mark is survived by his wife, Wanda (Linde) Abraham; daughter, Renae Abraham, Fargo, ND, sons: Todd Abraham, St. Louis Park, MN; Corey and Christian Abraham, Fargo, ND; brothers: Bruce and Sandi Abraham, Avon, MN; Dennis Abraham, Belle Plaine, MN; Nick Schroer, Watertown, MN; Nowell Schroer, Janesville, MN; one granddaughter, Samantha Hinkeldey, Fargo, ND; many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and church family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Norma (Yess) Abraham and an infant daughter. Funeral Service: Monday, April 21, 2008 at 1:30 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Lunch will be served following the funeral service at Grace Lutheran School, 1025 14th Ave S, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Sunday, April 20, 2008 from 4-8PM at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 8PM at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Burial: Iosco Cemetery, Janesville, MN. A reception will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Janesville, MN, after the burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred, memorials preferred to Concordia Theological Seminary – Student Aid, Fort Wayne, IN or to ND District LCMS Church Worker Scholarship Fund.
