Reed Mueller

Reed H. Mueller, 38, Fargo, ND, passed away on December 18, 2011, surrounded by family and friends after a difficult battle with cancer. Reed was born to Cecilia (Haag) and Thomas Mueller on December 31, 1972, during a snowstorm in Ada, Minnesota. He grew up in Bismarck, ND and graduated in 1991 from Bismarck high school. He received a BA degree from NDSU and went on to study at Century College White Bear Lake, Minnesota and graduated with a degree in prosthetics. He was a certified prosthetist at Sanford Health Healthcare Accessories, Fargo, ND for 16 years. Reed had a kind gentle nature and provided excellent care to all of his patients. He met and married the love of his life, Amy (Gustafson), on April 2, 2011. Reed had a wonderful sense of humor and loved golfing, the Vikings, music concerts, especially Pearl Jam and Van Halen and his Jeep Grand Cheroke. He is survived by his wife, Amy; mother, Cecilia Mueller; father, Thomas Mueller; brother, Troy Mueller (Lynette); two nieces, Madison and Kennedy; grandmother, Vi Mueller; and his beloved pups, Rufus and Bella. He was preceded in death by his brother, Todd Mueller. Funeral service: Thursday, December 22, at 1:00 PM at First Lutheran Church, Fargo. Visitation: Wednesday, December 21, from 5 – 7:00 PM, at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home, with a Prayer service at 7:00PM.
