Randa Lisburg, 67, of Argusville, ND, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Sanford Hospital in West Fargo, ND.
Randa June (Pfaff) Lisburg was born in La Moure, North Dakota, on June 23, 1955, to Anna Maria (Fregien) and Melvin Pfaff. She was their youngest child and joined her older siblings, Sharon, Gary, Darrel, and Wayne. She grew up on the family farm South East of Jud, North Dakota. She graduated from the Jud Public School as Salutatorian in 1973. She then attended the Wahpeton State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND, for one year, taking courses in computer technology. Her career started at the White Drug Office in Jamestown, ND, and then at PCA's Edgeley, ND, branch. In April of 1980, she moved to West Fargo with a job transfer to the PCA office in Fargo, ND. She remained with that organization, under many different company names, for 31 years. She retired from her position as an Information Systems Specialist at AgCountry Farm Credit Services in March 2011.
Randa married Roger Lisburg on September 17, 2005, and made their home in Argusville, ND. Roger passed away on June 1, 2020.
Randa was very bright and talented. She was in the school band and played the saxophone and also played piano at church. She also played softball, was on a bowling team, enjoyed crafts and reading, and loved her many pets. She attended Fargo First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Lisburg, father Melvin Pfaff, brother-in-law Wallace Kinzler and her grandparents.
Survivors are her mother, Anna Pfaff, Jud, ND; her sister Sharon Kinzler, Thief River Falls, MN; and her brothers Gary (Barb) Pfaff Holt, MO, Darrel(Jean) Pfaff, Jud, ND and Wayne(Pam) Pfaff Edgeley, ND. Nieces and nephews: Garrel(Celeste) Kinzler, Threna Brandner, Candace(Bryan) Smith, Sean(Kim) Pfaff, Chad (Morgan)Pfaff, Nyree (Dana)Howard, Ariane(Derek) Bohi, Samantha (Patrick)McDonough, Patrick(Colleen) Pfaff, Calantha(Jason) Klusmann, Kim(Scott) Olson and Matthew Pfaff. And numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces.
