Ralph Peterson, 62, of Walcott, ND, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at his home in Walcott.
Ralph Milo Peterson was born July 12, 1953 to Darrol and Joyce Peterson.
Ralph cared for his mother until her death and continued to live on the family farm where he died after suffering from throat cancer. His family would like to express their gratitude to Hospice of the Red River Valley for the care that he received.
Ralph owned and operated Sunset Landscaping; he was also a talented mechanic and sometimes carpetner. He was a warm, compassionate and outgoing man. Generous with his time and talent, he helped friends and family whenever he was able. As a young man, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle or snowmobile, depending on the season, visiting new and old friends. He loved being with people and the farm shop seemed to be always busy with some ongoing project.
Ralph is survived by his ex-wife, Haley Haubrich; son, George (Angela) Peterson; three grandchildren, Alexia, Caden, and Braelen; sisters, Susan Knapp and Janet Ritchie; brother, Dale Peterson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Virginia Rose; and his brother, Brian.
