Ralph John Christlieb, born March 27, 1936 in Osage, MN, passed away on December 31, 2013 at the age of 77 in his home in Hitterdahl, MN .
Ralph was the son of Clarence and Elizabeth (Jesionowski) Christlieb of Park Rapids, MN. Ralph was born in Osage, MN and moved to Fargo as a child. He met and married Marlyn Lees on October 27, 1955. They resided in Fargo where he worked for Dahl’s Supervalu. He later went to work for the Supervalu warehouse where he worked for 35 years, retiring in 1997.
Ralph moved to Harwood, ND in 1979 and then to Hitterdahl, MN in 1992, where he resided until his death. Ralph and his family spent many summers fishing and camping at Buffalo Lake, MN. Ralph also enjoyed hunting, especially in Montana.
Ralph leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Marlyn; seven children, Monte (Donna) Christlieb, Christine (Bud) Holden, Sheila Christlieb, John (Tammie) Christlieb, Susan (Joe) Smith, all of Fargo, ND, Mark (Alane) Christlieb, Moorhead, MN, and Lester (Tina) Christlieb, Kingsland, GA; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; six brothers, Melvin, Lawrence (Avis), Harold (Betty), David (Glenda), Stephen (Cheryl), and Richard (Josephine).
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert.
