Peter Balaz

Peter Balaz, 21, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007, at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo. Peter Balaz was born October 14, 1985, in Bratislava, Slovakia, son of Stefan Balaz and Dagmar Augustiniova. The family came to the United States in 1996, settling in Fargo. Peter attended schools in Fargo and graduated from North High School in 2004. He was studying business at North Dakota State University in Fargo. Peter loved swimming, snowboarding, working on cars and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his parents, Stefan and Dagmar Balaz, Fargo, ND; a brother, Stefan Balaz, Bakersfield, CA; grandparents back in Slovakia; and numerous family members. He loved and was loved by all of us. Funeral Service: Saturday, September 22, 2007, at 3:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at Hanson-Runsvold.
