Paul was born on November 29, 1967 and taken away from us too soon on November 5, 2023 at Sanford Medical Center leaving us with a profound sense of loss.
Paul Schierman, known affectionately as "Walleye," was the cherished son of Beverly Schierman (Hanson) and Warren Schierman.
Paul graduated from Fargo South High School and was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church.
Paul's passion for sports was unwavering and he held a deep love for football and NASCAR that warmed the hearts of those who knew him.
Among his many talents, Paul was renowned for his impeccable card selections, always offering the perfect card for every birthday and holiday. His trademark humor, quick wit, and dry sense of humor brought laughter and joy to those fortunate enough to share his company.
For over 30 years, Paul dedicated his career to Carpet World, where he excelled in craftsmanship. His journey was intertwined with that of his boss, and lifelong friend, Cal, always working side-by-side. His attention to detail was unparalleled, and he poured his heart into building intricate models, with a particular fondness for crafting cars, even if it meant assembling children's Lego sets every Christmas for his nieces and nephew.
Paul cherished his time spent with friends and was a lifelong regular at the Bowler, where he symbolized camaraderie and fun, making every moment spent with him truly unforgettable. May we all find solace in remembering those memories and remember the fragility of life, and the importance of cherishing every moment.
Paul was a "what you see is what you get" kind of guy, and his authenticity endeared him to all who were fortunate to cross his path.
Rest in peace, Paul, as you embark on your final journey to the sky. You will be deeply missed and your memory will forever bring smiles to our faces.
Paul is survived and will be dearly missed by his mother, Beverly Schierman; father, Warren Schierman; siblings, Kelly (Rick) Magnuson and Anita (Henry) Prien; nieces and nephews, Kaylee Berglund, Annie Berglund, Jake Magnuson, and Jessie Magnuson.
